Your Holiday Property
Dating from 1869 and originally a small farm Casa Anno 1869, is located in the tiny hamlet of Real in the Covas valley. The property consists of The Barn designed for self catering, our house, separated from the barn by a courtyard and two letting bedrooms situated in the granite built stable block adjoining our house. These two stable rooms may be let either as additional accommodation for the barn or on a bed and breakfast basis.
Double Bedroom (stable block)
A comfortably appointed room with a shower and WC on-suite and central heating for those cosy autumn or winter nights. The room has its own entrance which opens on to the gardens.
Twin bedroom (stable block)
Another comfortably appointed room with the same facilities and its own entrance opening on to the gardens.
The Barn
Rustic, studio style accommodation on two levels with living, cooking and sleeping area on the upper level and a bathroom and a utility room downstairs. The barn is heated by means of a traditional cast iron log stove. Adjoining the barn is a large covered eating area, a traditional flat threshing floor perfect for barbeques and a sunny south facing garden with a shaded pergola ideal for watching the sun drop behind the mountains at the end of the day. The barn is completely self-contained with a washing machine, electric oven, gas hob, fridge and satellite TV with UK TV channels. Although ideally suited for a couple, extra guests can be accommodated in the stable bedrooms. Bed linen and bath towels are provided and guests in the barn will receive a complementary welcome pack of local produce.
